KЄ ROHΘH TⲰ/CⲰ [Δ]૪Λ' in circular legend inside two concentric circles; in inner field, facing bust of St. Peter holding a key in his right hand and a long cross in his left hand. Rev. ΠЄTPⲰ / R’ CΠAΘAP’ / S A’NOTAP, / T, ΘPAK’ in four lines, cross above. Unpublished in the standard references. A remarkable depiction of St. Peter, depicted with a key, which is quite rare in Byzantine iconography. Thick deposits and some minor cleaning scratches, otherwise, very fine.
